Example: searching for “invoice” finds text inside a screenshot, a file on an unplugged drive, a photo of a receipt and a passage inside a contract.

Image content

Search the text and objects in screenshots, photos and snapped receipts.

Document content

Search the text inside PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Pages, Markdown and plain-text files, including scanned PDFs.

Unplugged drives

Files on an external drive stay searchable after you unplug it, and results show which drive they’re on.
